Roppongi Hills: Night Jewels

There's something about tall skyscrapers and that euphoric feeling you get when you're high up, staring out at the magnificent view. Buildings that looked so tall before now appear to be small blocks and cars are nothing more than specks. I was able to see views of Tokyo during the day from Shinjuku, but was craving to see the flashing, bright lights at night. My aunty and I went to Roppongi Hills after visiting Tokyo Skytree. The line wait to get a ticket to go to the top was ninety minutes, so we decided to skip it and head to Roppongi instead.

We went to Mori Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the city at 238 meters tall. The Tokyo City View observation deck offered us panoramic views of the city with its glass walls and if you go a tad bit higher, you'll reach the Sky Deck which is an open-air rooftop area. My aunty had never been to Mori Tower despite living in Kawasaki, so she was very happy to see the beautiful city lights :)

Skytree lit up at night. I can only imagine what the views must have looked like from so high up!!

Mori Tower in all its glory :)

View from the observation deck inside.

If I remember correctly, you can see Yokohama! The ferris wheel is part of Minato Mirai 21

City of sparking jewels ^^

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful week! :)
