Landmark Tower Sky Garden Observatory: Yokohama Views

Less than half an hour away from Tokyo lies Yokohama, Japan's second largest city, so it was a given that my aunty and I would make the short journey there for the day :) It is a major port in Japan as it was one of the first ones to be opened to foreign trade. Our first stop was the Landmark Tower's Sky Garden Observatory which also happens to be one of the tallest buildings in the country with a whopping height of 273 meters (are you seeing a trend with tall buildings? ^^;) . The elevator that takes visitors up was also the fastest one in the world at the time that it was built (not sure if it's still the fastest) and there is a colored bar that tells visitors how fast they are going up. I had to pop my ears a couple of times because of how fast and high we were going up! The admission fee is 1,000 yen, but the views are well worth it.

We were one of the first ones up, so we were lucky to have most of the area to ourselves.

There's also a bar at the top where you can order food and drinks while enjoying the view :) We got a coupon for drinks and used that to get some hot tea and coffee.

Inside of the Landmark Plaza where you can spend the entire day shopping and dining :)

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful week!
